Evelyn

Evelyn's own Signature Engine and unsurprisingly her clear best choice. Grants a tremendous amount of unconditional CRIT RATE and CRIT DMG and has an incredibly consistent combat buff offering up to 25% FIRE RES PEN for Chain Attacks and Ultimates which is perfect for Evelyn along with a massive damage multiplier.

Soldier 0 - Anby's Signature is a functional stat-stick for Evelyn. With frequent Special use out of stun for Burning Embers generation, it is reasonable to maintain 2 of its 3 stacks up at all times, making it an effective weapon if her Signature isn't available.

Hugo's Signature is an S-Rank W-Engine with a CRIT RATE mainstat and a decently high CRIT DMG bonus effect. Evelyn cannot benefit from the rest of its bonuses, but the raw stats that it gives make it a competitive option.

Starlight Engine is the go-to A-Rank option for Evelyn, being better than even its event counterparts (like Marcato Desire or Gilded Blossom) when well managed. It provides a sizeable Combat ATK gain, and although it does need refreshing mid-combo via Quick Assists, it is easy enough to maintain at critical periods with proper planning.

Steel Cushion holds merit simply by being an S-Rank CRIT RATE mainstat W-Engine, and that alone makes it decent, albeit worse than a well managed Starlight Engine. It has a DMG Bonus on back attacks and Evelyn is particularly well suited to benefit from it, as her EX Special can turn enemies around when they are stunned, but doing so does demand a fair bit of planning and skill.
