Massive CRIT Rate makes capping easy, an important trait for Hugo. DEF Shred on Ultimate applies to Totalizes, particularly strong in Dialyn teams where Ultimates land on almost every stun.

Best CRIT stat-stick for all Attack agents — more CRIT DMG than Myriad Eclipse but Hugo cannot use its other effects. Still a strong, no-management alternative.

Hugo always performs back attacks with his Totalizes, fully using the 25% DMG Bonus. Interrupt EX Special shortly after its dash with an Ultimate cast to reposition without spending Energy — both EX and Ultimate Totalizes become back attacks.

Hugo always opens with Chain Attacks and benefits from short stun windows — at least half of Marcato's buff is up for the full stun burst. Proper Anomaly management can sustain frequent Freezes for both stacks, making it a decent A-rank option.
