Hugo Vlad

Hugo's signature is tailor-made for him: large CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and DEF Ignore effects that activate in short windows around his most important skills. Nothing else comes close.

Seed's signature is a solid stat stick with enormous CRIT Rate, making the cap easy to reach, which matters a lot to Hugo. Its Ultimate DEF Shred also applies to the Totalizes that Ultimate produces, so it excels alongside Dialyn, who fuels an Ultimate in nearly every stun.

Evelyn's signature is the top CRIT stat stick for Attack Agents, with huge CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. It even beats Myriad Eclipse on CRIT DMG, but Hugo gains nothing from its other effects, so it ends up clearly weaker. Still a strong, zero-management alternative with no team requirements.

An especially good Standard Banner option for Hugo, since his Totalizes can always land as back attacks for the full 25% DMG Bonus. His EX Special moves him to the opposite side of his starting point (usually behind the enemy); his Ultimate does not, but casting it right after the EX dash keeps the new position without spending Energy.

Hugo opens with Chain Attacks and his stun windows are short, so at least half of Marcato's buff is reliably up for the whole burst. With careful Anomaly management, frequent Freezes can keep both stacks active, making this a respectable A-Rank pick.
